The flaw, in my opinion, of a d20 One Piece system is the rigidity of it. One Piece is a shounen anime, if you want to be true to its nature, you want a system that is not particularly lethal, and allows for dumb cinematic stuff that have no root in realism. Additionally, with a d20 system, it is impossible to have a master doctor without them being an expert in combat as skills are. So right now im running a one piece campaign with 6 players in the crew, we've only gotten two sessions in and they just got off their starting island. I was thinking about having another dm run their own campaign in a shared world. Like having another rival rookie crew, or a unit of marines. So they can both affect the world they live in. Sometimes they may cross paths and fight each other.
